Rest in Peace Firefighter Frank Kolman

Frank E. Kolman, 87, of Goshen entered into rest on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Park Manor Rehabilitation Center, Middletown, NY.


Frank was born August 12, 1934 in Goshen, (Durlandville) NY; the son of Frank J. Kolman and Rose (Kujawski) Kolman.


He retired from Dutchess Quarry, Goshen, NY as a Weigh Master. Frank was a member of the Dikeman Engine and Hose for over 55 years, first as a Vice President and then President for 4 years. He was 1998 Grand Marshall at the Fire Parade. Frank was also a member of the Middletown Elks for over 50 years. He was a self employed printer and printed for the Independent Republican. He did snowplowing for neighbors and friends. He worked many years at the Donovan Funeral Home. He loved watching the Giants and Mets. And he enjoyed every morning joining his good friends at Elsie's Luncheonette. Frank loved being home by the pool with Peg and his girls with a cold Heineken in hand. He will forever be cherished.


He is survived by his wife and sweetheart, Margaret Kolman at home; daughters Corinne Rose Bozzo and Nancy Marie Clark both of Goshen; 4 granddaughters, Nicole Clark, Kristen Bozzo, Alyssa Clark and Jaclyn Clark; many nieces and nephews.


Frank was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Terry Ann Kolman, siblings, Florence Zack, Emily Kata, Ceclia Rice and Eugene Kolman


Visitation will be Friday, March 18 from 4 to 7 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.


A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY with Fr. Thomas Dicks officiating.


Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen.
